Unbeaten Tenbury March On:
11th January 2020
Tenbury RFC got the new year off to a flying start with our
biggest win of the season so far - 81-0 against Dixonians which
keeps us four points clear at the top of the table.
Next up is Stourport away on Saturday, KO 2.15pm if you can make
it over to support. Actually, we are taking both sides over -
Firsts and Seconds - so there will be a feast of rugby on offer.
Tenbury Break Losing Duck:
8th November 2019
Tenbury had their forward pack to thank for a well worked first
victory in the Midlands 4 West (South) league.
A hard fought first half, with plenty of opportunities created
but none taken left Tenbury 0-7 down at half time. A rousing
team talk by Andrew Black and Jon Males gave the impetus for
Tenbury to kick on.
VP's Dinner Rescheduled:
7th October 2019
Due to the weather we unfortunately had to cancel the Vice
Presidents' lunch at the weekend.
Have no fear though as we
have rearranged the event to now take place on the evening of
Friday 11th October, commencing at 7pm. Former Wales
international fly-half Phil Bennett will also still be attending
and giving a talk on his experiences in the game.
Tenbury Raring To Go:
4th September 2019
Tenbury arrived at Droitwich with a full squad and a good bank
of preseason training behind them.
Tenbury played an excellent game, holding their own against a
larger pack which allowed the backs to create space and gaps to
break through and put Droitwich to the sword. Tenbury ran in 7
tries in total highlighted by hatrick for both Callum Spires and
Hobie Gill. Luke Gill added the final try to end the game 41-0
to Tenbury.
